One of the guys I work with named Jon, wanted to get a concept graphic for what would be a removable graphic for a skateboard. What better graphic to put on a 'pavement surfboard' than a exploding skull? Actually, I did a version where the skull looked like it was on the receiving end of a baseball bat, but opted for a less Clockwork Orange feel.
The image on the right is a shitty scan of the original drawing, while the image on the left is a shitty photo I took of the finished decal. The colored version is what resulted after bringing the scan into Adobe Illustrator and putting some vector Voodoo into it
