Work in Progress
I have been ramping up to do a graphite drawing but it has been about 15 years since I broke out the pencils. So in an attempt to see where I stand (skill-wise), I did a quick character study to see if I would like it. I have some work to do, but so far I'm not hating it.
Tetsujin v.2
After making the first Tetsujin, I wasn't really satisfied with the text. I thought I could do a better job on the mad scientist as well, so I decided to redo it. I like it, although I think the original mad scientist conveys the spirit I was looking for a little better. This guy doesn't look quite as whacked out.
F-Bom v.2
I have been looking for a new way to improve on my F-Bomb design, so this is F-Bom! (F-Bomb) version 2.0.
Time 2 Train!
Although I blatantly ripped off David Lozeau's skull for my own selfish ends, it was really secondary to the text, which was the real motivation to do this. Well that as well as a motivational piece I could e-mail my training partner Todd, to get him hyped up for the next session. So I only take partial credit on this one, but I like it so decided to post it. If you want to check out David Lozeau, he can be found here.
I'm not really sure why I wanted a dried up bone head as something to advertise the need to get to the gym; maybe because it just looks badass.
Crow Gym original drawing
Here's the original Crow Gym logo I did before vectorizing the sucker within an inch of its life. Pen and ink on Bristol board.
